Goliah Rounds Jr., deceased
DECREE
This cause coming on for hearing in vacation before the Clerk of said Court upon the sworn petition of Charles Rounds Sr. praying for the issuance unto him of Letters of Administration upon the estate of Goliah Rounds, Jr, deceased, and it appearing unto the court :- That the deceased was a resident of Adams County, Mississippi at the time of his death; that said deceased died intestate and his estate is possess of the sum of $848.00 in cash now in the custody of the United States Government:
That it is advisable that said estate be administered, and an administer thereof be appointed and that Charles Rounds, Sr. is a suitable and proper person for such appointment. It is thereupon ordered, Adjudged and Decreed that upon the said Charles Rounds Sr., taking the oath prescribed by law and upon his entering into good and sufficient bond in the amount of $850.00 to be approved by the Clerk of this Court, conditioned upon his faithful fulfillment at this office and the duties thereof that Letters of Administration upon the estate of Goliah Rounds Jr., do issue unto him, the said Charles Rounds Sr.
It further appearing unto the Court the total assets of the $848.00 in cash; that an appraisement is unnecessary, said appraisement is hereby ordered and adjudged dispensed with and not required of the administrator.
ORDERED, ADJUDGED AND DECREED IN VACATION THIS THE 28TH DAY OF MAY, 1928.
